Things I am obsessed with

1.  Abandonded Asylums (and other ghoulish abandoned buildings) - because I am seriously obsessed with crazy people - and dead people (but especially crazy dead people).

2.  Kumquats - sweet and tasty on the outside, disgusting on the inside.  I can't stop eating them.  or saying "kumquats"

3.  Ghost Hunters - because hunting for ghosts in an abandoned building would be nirvana for me.  And I think the people on those shows (the people who have the ghost issues) are insane.

4.  FiestaWare - really is a service for 15 enough? Should I stop? I can't.  Paprika is ready for pre-order and my hands are shaking at the prospect of a new color.

5.  Television Without Pity - television reviewed by people like me.  very twisted.

6.  Black Garlic - awsome on all levels.  And when you use it to make a cream sauce, it turns grey.  Can you think of anything better to eat than linguine with grey sauce? Or fettuccine al-greyo?

7.  Chicken Invaders (all versions) - because it drives the cats crazy with all of the clucking. And blowing clothes off of chickens is seriously twisted fun.

I bet I would love Fiesta Ware. I collected Longaberger Pottery and Baskets for years. I believe I have service for 24. Plus all the baking dishes and mixing bowls and you name it. I have Paprika, Green and their regular off-white, trimmed in Paprika and Green. I absolutely love it and use it as my regular everyday dishes.

I do have one piece I could have done without... a soup turine I have used only once. If I remember correctly I got it for about $125 after my Longaberger Consultant's discount.

Did I mention I have a lot of the wrought iron, too?

I finally stopped collecting, but it was hard... really hard!

I won't tell The Boys you neglected to include cats ;-)

I have never tried a kumquat...probably because I have no clue how to eat one. Peel it? Bite into the little sucker? It doesn't come with directions!

I have a thing for anything with cows on them, so I know where you are coming from. I'm actually going to see Ghost Hunters Live in October, so I share your fascinations with abandoned asylums and hospitals, too.

Ok, first don't 1 & 3 totally go together - aren't abandoned asylums just made for ghost hunting? I go through phases where I have to search for any "ghostly" places aroudn here. So I get those for sure.

And TWoP - love it! I have been going there since way back when it was Dawson's Wrap (dang, that is like pre-2000) and through the Mighty Big TV years. There are TV shows I have never seen but that I have read every recap of. Best. Site. Ever. And until now I have never seen anyone mention it - so that just makes you extra cool.

Never had a kumquat - not opposed to them just never had the opportunity.

Never even heard of black garlic but I like black and I like garlic so it sounds good to me.

Chicken Invaders - again, no idea what it is but I am intrigued.

Now, I have to admit that the only place I disagree is with the Fiestaware - it is pretty and all, but not really my style. Like to look at it - just not at my house. Course I said that about a lot of things in the past and now I have them, so who knows!

But it it the TWoP that really just made me smile!
